This Thanksgiving , I am going to ponder some thoughts:
Every day the news give us an indication of some type of atrocity occurring around the world. Our world needs more prayers and and support.
Every day there are many stories of people helping and assisting people. Many people give up their time and energy everyday to serve another person’s needs.
Every day there is a person in our world whose needs are not being met. Look at the homeless in our community.
Every day another person is looking for a way to make financial ends meet.
Every day someone makes a poor decision that ultimately impacts the lives of others.
This Thanksgiving I am going to reflect more on what I am thankful for:
I am thankful for my Faith in Jesus Christ, without it my life would not have purpose.
I am thankful for my wife, children, parents and extended family who reinforce my Faith and keep me accountable. These people show me love every day.
I am thankful for my close friends and co-workers who are there to spend time with at work, church and at various activities.
This Thanksgiving I am going to work on making a difference:
Looking ahead, it is time that each of us take a personal stand to work closer with each other and respect each other’s opinions.
Looking ahead, I need to always work on looking at the world through different eyes. A strong Faith, helps reinforce this view which is much different than the world view.
Looking ahead, I am excited about what the future has to bring because it involves helps serving the needs of people. Adding value to someone’s life is the key to making a difference in this world.
Looking ahead, I need to be open to growing more in Faith and looking for direction from the One who set the direction for all of us.
Have a Great Thanksgiving Weekend!
