Today, our employees are dealing with all kinds of disruptions: personal, information, texts, news alerts, friends and co-workers. Our workers are restless and sitting on edge wondering what will happen with our companies. As a leader, it is imperative for me to pick up on these ques and look for ways to keep people engaged.
Change is a daily phenomenon and I am looking directly at our clients and workers and seeing a new, changing horizon evolving before my eyes.
This new culture of revolutionary technology and improved communications is allowing businesses to grow exponentially overnight. Gone are the days of experience and resume achievements. Today, every company has a chance to make a difference. That difference can either be substantially positive or detrimentally negative.
Today, I continue to reaffirm my position to create a culture where learning and growth are a product of “why” our company is in business. I am working harder than ever to infuse this change in our company, because I have to. It really comes down to survival and continuous improvement.
It is an exciting time to be in business. Through all of this, people will make the difference and it is imperative as a leader to insure that through all this change, people are the focus.
